Shires Two Ring Sweet Iron Gag with Raised Ribs Bit

With a sweet iron mouthpiece designed to produce a sweet taste and encourage salivation as it oxidizes. The addition of copper ribs help to prevent the horse from taking to much contact, a good deterent for horses that tend to take hold. Moving the rein between the main ring and bottom ring allows more control. The 5? and smaller sizes of this bit come with shorter cheeks to ensure the bit remains in proportion with the smaller head.
